Some people find their calling in a classroom. I found mine in a war room — specifically, a Clash of Clans war room.
What started as casual gaming turned into something else entirely when I began tracking patterns, building spreadsheets, and reverse engineering the game's matchmaking algorithm to force-match any clan I wanted. We climbed from somewhere in the 40s all the way to #2 in the world. Not by playing harder — by thinking differently.
The guy I was playing with looked at what I'd built and asked me one simple question: "Do you know what Bitcoin is?"
I've never looked back.
That obsession with systems, patterns, and figuring out how things really work under the hood led me deep into blockchain and Web3. In 2018, as the first employee at Pocket Network, I co-architected the foundational tokenomics of the protocol alongside a professor from the University of South Florida — and became an acknowledged contributor to the Pocket Network Economic Paper. I loved the work so much I never left.
Today I run Chain Consulting, where I work with Web3 projects, startups, and operators navigating the intersection of blockchain technology, business operations, and growth. I also serve as Head of Ecosystem at Pocket Network (pokt.foundation), and most recently sat on the Pocket Network Economics Committee guiding tokenomics for the Shannon protocol upgrade.
Before blockchain, I spent years in design, project management, and product strategy — starting as an Art Director in 2005 at the largest printing company in Florida, then founding my own graphic design company in 2007. The through-line has always been the same: turn complex problems into elegant solutions.
Based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Perpetually drawn to Colorado. Always one flight away from somewhere new — with my golden retriever Kaia in tow whenever I can manage it.
